Education through presentations

In addition to authoring several articles and his book (Drift Boats and River Dories, Their History, Design, Construction and Use) about the early drift boats Roger Fletcher is delighted to offer presentations about his work. A gifted and enthused speaker he brings his research to life. Using his models of the re-created originals he spins fascinating tales about the men and the women behind the boats. The listener becomes  enthralled with these early river running pioneers as Roger weaves the exciting, curious and dynamic stories about these "eddies of evolution."

Roger's presentations can be tailored to most interested groups as well as to a variety of time constraints. While his talks include models of the boats he has recovered to-date, they may also include footage of some of the early folks at work with their boats. Interested groups should contact the River's Touch as early as possible because he limits the number of invitations he will accept. All presentations are offered without charge. If distances exceed reasonable limits actual expenses for travel will be required.
